About Me

I decided to start this blog all about the St. Louis Blues because I think my facebook friends are getting tired of seeing my posts about hockey. I have been a Blues fan forever, Blues hockey was really the only sport that was in my TV religiously as a little kid. My dad was a huge Blues fan and we had season tickets that my dad shared with a friend of his, so we could go, even on school nights! As I got older I was still a die hard Blues fan and if they were on TV I would watch them, but I didn't follow them as much, until recently that is. My brother recently got back into hockey, which in turn made my sister and me do the same. Now, my husband and I plan our lives around if the Blues are playing.  So welcome to my little slice of Blues heaven where I will talk about all things Blues/hockey. 

Here are some facts about me and my love for the Blues:

*Growing up it was all about Chris Pronger for me, #44 baby! I even had a poster of him in my room!

*Now it is all about Vladdy Tarasenko! He is an amazing hockey player and I hope he stays with us for a long time!

*Because I am a girl I am a little more emotionally attached to players, for example, when one or more of our players get traded it breaks my heart, and I still find myself rooting them and their new team on.

*I think Lapierre is highly underrated as a player

*The game between the Blues and Islanders on Jan. 25 was the most stressful game of my life!

*Our hearts were heart broken when Sobotka got hurt and couldn't go to the Olympics so we made him this sign when we get to the Blues/Ottawa game
